She is made a servant where she ironically forms a bond with the boy she once tried to capture. She helps Bran and Rickon escape after Theon captures Winterfell. After Osha and Rickon are taken captive by Ramsay Bolton, Osha attempts to murder Ramsay, but her ruse fails and he murders her, instead. Syrio Forel is a master fencer from Braavos. He was hired by Eddard Stark to teach Arya how to fence with her sword "Needle," which was given to her by her half-brother, Jon Snow. He was killed by Lannister men after Cersei declared Eddard Stark a traitor and demanded that all of the Starks be captured.

He sacrificed himself so that Arya could flee the scene. They are both captured by Ramsay Snow Bolton after the fall of Winterfell. Little Walder is fostered at Winterfell along with his cousin Big Walder. After Winterfell falls, he is captured by Ramsay Snow Bolton. Maester Luwin is the Master of Winterfell. He is stabbed by Bolton men and Osha gives him a quick mercy death before helping Bran and Rickon escape. Vayon Poole is a steward of Winterfell. Vayon Poole would help Eddard Stark with anything that was requested of him.

He is killed by Lannister men after Eddard is arrested for treason. Jeyne Poole is the daughter of Vayon Poole, a steward of Winterfell. Jory Cassel is the son of Martyn Cassel. Jory Cassel served as Eddard Stark's captain of guard and he is loyal to the Stark family. He is killed at the request of Jaime Lannister as a means to teach the Starks a lesson for kidnapping Tyrion Lannister.

Alyn is a member of the household guard at Winterfell and a member of the Brotherhood without Banners. He appears in the Song of Ice and Fire books. Tomard is a guard sworn to House Stark. Tomard's storyline differs between the books and the TV show, but in both cases he is loyal ally to the Starks.

Wyl is a guard sworn to House Stark. Wyl served as a member of Eddard Stark's guard and he is loyal to the Stark family. He was killed at the request of Jaime Lannister as a means to teach the Stark's a lesson for kidnapping Tyrion Lannister.

Heward is a guard sworn to House Stark. Heward served as a member of Eddard Stark's guard and he is loyal to the Stark family. Desmond is a guard sworn to House Stark. Hullen is loyal to the Stark family. Harwin is a member of the guard of House Stark and later a member of the Brotherhood without Banners. Joseth succeeded Hullen as master of horse at Winterfell.

Septa Mordane spends most of her time teaching Sansa and Arya how to be noblewomen. She is killed, along with several other members of the House Stark, when Eddard Stark is arrested for treason. Septon Chayle is the librarian of Winterfell. Farlen is the kennelmaster at Winterfell. Farlen storyline differs in the books and the TV show. Three of the five kids survived or four of six if you count Jon, who's technically a Targaryen , and most of them got what they wanted.

Sansa gets to be queen, her desire from Season 1; Arya got the freedom to do what she wants; Bran can use his Three-Eyed Raven powers to make the world a better place; and Jon gets to live among the Freefolk.
