And disarms are not as common which has been pointed out numerous times. But what would you possibly interrupt? BM Hunters have 0 offensive spells with a cast time, so even if physical abilities were interruptible, there would still be nothing to interrupt. A hunter is essentially a melee class that uses physical damage abilities from a range and also acts as a support class. Hunters are actually pretty weak. Bad hunters feign the second they take any form of dot damage, so abuse that fact as you will.

Hunters are incredibly squishy, and pets die if you so much as sneeze on them. Disarm it, stun it, disorient it, and it then proceeds to do zero damage. I would not advocate for hunter nerfs, in fact, i would probably want them buffed.

But i really do think that there needs to be an established way to interrupt hunter damage. Not necessarily spell lock them, not necessarily kite them, but something.

Currently, not even line of sight works against hunters which is probably the most egregious violation of this. I expect it to stop the auto attack. You may need to call another one of your methods to restart your rotation. Not sure how exactly it will behave once you stop the auto attack. Also, please note that this is a workaround, and doesn't really solve the problem. It would be interesting to determine what causes it to start the auto attack in the first place.

I believe the main issue is that once it initiates Auto Attack it interrupts Auto Shot. My character will shoot range just fine, then pull out the weapon and get ready for melee attack even though the target unit is still 30 yards out.

Re: Ranged Interrupt for Hunters As a ranged class, it is not only typical, but beneficial, for hunters to be positioned outside of melee range.

Canceling an induction to charge in for a blindside is possible, but undesirable as it reduces dps and relies too heavily the person's reaction speed to be reliable.
